The most common question we receive from beginning belly dancers is, “What kind of music should I get, and where do I get it?” This list should get you started!
Are you brand new to belly dance and want to invest in just one or two CDs? We recommend any of the Bellydance Superstars CDs, which include various styles and artists all on one CD.
If you want a “starter CD” with just pop music, try any of the Desert Roses CDs.
If you're just learning to play the finger cymbals (zills) we recommend practicing with Rhythm of the Dance, by Solace.
